It's October Already?

I'm glad Fall is here, but the time is certainly going by fast! I haven't been on any outings with my camera lately. I may go to the Leelanau Penninsula soon, where besides the beautiful colors up there, is an old fishing village. I'm sure the colors there are in peak and always gorgeous.

Recently, I have received some requests to do photo shoots for senior photos. This will be good as I have done a few in the past. What a great thing it is, to be part of a special time in a young adult's life!

I have been researching the different lens types. My future plans include updating my photo equipment and I have received suggestions from fellow photographers on what to purchase, what thier preference is, and what will work best for me and my style. Communicating with fellow photographers is a good thing for me. You can never learn to much. Critiques and comments from them are always appreciated and helpful!

Welcome to my blog. This is my first post, as this is all new to me. Photography has been a passion of mine for many years and I'm ready to share my experience and my work with others.

Summer was wonderful, a cooler one, but I didn't mind one bit. Went to a few art shows and spoke with fellow photographers. They are all so talented with thier own style. Some were art show veterans and for some, this was thier first year and I must add, they were doing very well!

Autumn is my favorite season, so I will be in my glory soon! Well, as long as we have the fall colors, not too sure about that with the cooler summer we've had in Michigan. I love everything about Autumn, the cool crisp air, you can actually smell a difference in the air! I love apple picking and the pumpkin patches! My goal this fall is to tour lighthouses with the fall colors complimenting them. Hopefully we have some great weather. Regardless, I will have a great Autumn season and I hope everyone reading this does too!
